I love working in watercolour. I'm never quite sure where the paint will take me which means that no two pieces are the same. My paintings are heavily inspired by my love for children's literature, along with my two girls, the beautiful county of Northumberland where I live, and the children that I work with every day in my role as a primary teacher.
I often use a combination of watercolour, coloured pencil and digital elements in my work.
